Time: Saturdays at 10am
Duration: 2.5-3 hours
Meeting Point: David Jones, Barangaroo
On this walk we visit 5 different chocolatiers around Sydney.
As well as entertaining your taste buds you'll learn about the history of chocolate, how it's made, and how to appreciate and taste the best chocolate.
There is a sit-down break half way through to have - you guessed it - a hot chocolate (a very special one). Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The chocolate's included, although you'll probably want to buy extra to take home and share with the less fortunate. Please indicate your dietary requirements at the time of booking. Not every chocolatier can cater for gluten or dairy free. You also need to be 13 or over to handle this much chocolate.
The tour guide was very informative and the places we were taken too weren't main stream but small family run businesses which made the experience more exciting 5/5 by Zoe Cassar 16-2-2020

We were very impressed with the quality of the retailers visited. Each was unique and the staff were very accommodating.
Our guide, Gabriel, was knowledgable, personable, and dedicated to making our tour as enjoyable as possible. We greatly appreciated the steps she took to keep us comfortable as well as entertained during a day of particularly unSummerlike weather (cold, raining, windy). 5/5 by ADRIENNE REID 18-1-2020

We went as a family and really enjoyed this event. There was a lot of variety and it was lovely to see and sample the diverse range of chocolate products available in Sydney. I hadnít heard of a couple of the shops prior to the tour so they were great discoveries. Loved it! Would highly recommend it. The guide Gabriel was lovely, very knowledgable and interesting. The places visited were very good. Did not know about 4/5 places that we visited. The selection of samples we tasted were delicious! Good having a taste of chocolate in various forms. Had not visited the Forgotten song Art installation in Angel Place in before. This was interesting. Also being told about the history of the buildings was interesting too.
